FAQ
A quick overview of how Falcon Link supports secure browser-based delivery for medical imaging and other large clinical files.
Falcon Link is a browser-based workspace for securely sending large medical imaging files, DICOM studies, and related documents without interrupting clinical collaboration.
Recipients can access shared files through the browser and verification flow, while teams already using Falcon MD or Falcon Mx can continue in their existing workflow.
Falcon Link uses encrypted transport, controlled access, and time-limited file retention so teams can share studies without exposing them through consumer file-sharing tools.
Shared files automatically expire after seven days unless they are deleted sooner, which helps keep temporary collaboration links under control.
If your scans are provided on a medical imaging CD, follow these steps. Always select the full CD as a single source.

In Falcon Link, choose Import Folder (e.g. CD) to begin.
Use the Import Folder option, not single-file upload.
When the file chooser opens, locate the CD in the list of drives (usually shown with a disc icon). Select the CD itself and confirm.
Choose the CD as one item.
Keep the browser open and leave the CD in the computer until the upload is ready or completed.
Do not remove the CD too early.
IMPORTANT
This ensures the entire imaging study is included correctly.
Large scans can take a little time. Keep the page open and leave the CD in the computer while Falcon Link reads it.
Take the CD out and put it in again. Wait a few seconds. If the computer opens a CD window, that usually means the disc was read correctly.
Go back and select the CD drive itself instead of clicking into folders and choosing files one by one.
